Will Your Job Still Exist in 3 Years?

An MVP (minimum viable product person) needs three qualities — these can exist in one person or be spread across a team: the Traveling Merchant, who connects products to market demand; the Craftsman, who builds the product from nothing; and the Steward, who holds the team together at the core.

On how teams actually work: "democracy and respecting everyone's opinion" is just a polite way of saying nobody wants to take responsibility. For a project to succeed, it generally needs a widely respected strong person to step up and lead — even somewhat autocratically. A train can only have one engine.

The core thread running through the book has been covered well in the 大人學 podcast: keep sharpening yourself, treat yourself as a brand, and constantly ask what the market needs and what value you can offer. That's the only sustainable way to stay in the game. #psychology #lifestyle
